JK-BD4A24S-4P is a high-current active balancing lithium battery protection board developed by Chengdu Jikong Technology. It supports 7~24S ternary lithium, 8~24S LiFePO4 and 14~24S lithium titanate battery packs. Built-in 0.4A large current active equalization, max 40A continuous charge/discharge current, full protection functions with Bluetooth APP control, widely used in energy storage, solar power station, RV backup power and battery pack projects.

Active Balancing Technology

Adopts energy transfer active equalization with independent intellectual property rights, max 0.4A balancing current. Transfer energy from high-voltage cells to low-voltage cells to improve cell consistency, extend battery cycle life and increase full discharge range.

Full Protection System

Standard equipped with overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit, over-temperature & low-temperature charge protection. Automatic recovery design avoids manual reset after protection trigger.

5. Interface & Wiring Introduction

The JK-BD4A24S-4P board is equipped with multiple standard interfaces for cell sampling, communication, heating, display and parallel connection. All balance wires must be connected in sequence from B1 to B24 before powering on to avoid hardware damage.

  1. Scan the QR code on the BMS board to download JK BMS APP (Android 7.0 & above / iOS supported)
  2. Complete wiring inspection first, then activate the board via charger / external button / display screen
  3. Open phone Bluetooth, search and pair with JK-BD4A24S-4P device
  4. Set battery type (Ternary / LiFePO4 / LTO), cell series number, capacity and protection threshold parameters

8. Installation & Safety Notes

  • Check all balance wires in strict order before powering on; wrong B string wiring will burn the protection board instantly
  • P- (load/charger negative) and B- (battery total negative) must not be reversed
  • If heating function is installed, add a 45~65℃ normally closed thermal fuse for secondary safety protection
  • Do not exceed the max 40A continuous discharge current for long-term load operation
  • For long-term idle storage, enable intelligent sleep mode to reduce self-consumption
  • When parallel multiple battery packs, purchase optional parallel module and turn off charge current limit in APP
