Frequently asked questions

  • Failure to Power On?

1.Verify the final wire "B+" in the harness is securely connected to the battery pack's main positive terminal. 2.Activate via charging: Charger output voltage must exceed the battery pack voltage by ≥2V to initiate BMS wake-up. 3.Confirm presence of voltage output from the charger. 4.Activation may alternatively be triggered via the device's power button or touch panel initiation controls.

  • Voltage Inaccuracy?

Using a multimeter, measure the actual total voltage of the battery pack, then input this value into the "Voltage Calibration" field on the parameter settings page.

  • Current Measurement Inaccuracy?

1.If the protection board's B- and P- terminals utilize dual 7AWG wires, both wires must be paralleled. Failure to connect either wire will introduce current sensing errors. 2.Measure the battery pack's actual current using a clamp meter, then input this value into the "Current Calibration" field in the parameter settings page. Calibration accuracy increases proportionally with higher measured currents.

  • Capacity Inaccuracy?

1.During first-time activation, the protection board derives an initial capacity estimate from individual cell voltages. This value is inherently imprecise. 2.Capacity becomes calibrated only after completing a full discharge cycle to the cut-off voltage, followed by an uninterrupted full recharge.

  • Cell Count Mismatch (Design vs. Actual)?

1.Verify the "Cell Count" parameter is correctly configured in the settings menu. 2.If specific consecutive cells (2+ cells) show zero voltage, inspect the sense harness for disconnections.
